Raindrop Dallas collects personal information in two places on this site: the contact form, and the scholarship application. WHAT WE COLLECT If you send us a message, we keep your name, your email address and what you wrote, so we can reply. If you apply for a scholarship, we keep the answers you give in the application form and any documents you upload. We also use your email address to send you a verification code, so we know the application really came from you. We do not ask for information we do not need, and we do not buy personal information from anyone else. HOW WE USE IT We use what you give us to answer you, to review your application, to decide and administer scholarship awards, and to keep records of those decisions. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may share information where we are required to by law, or with service providers who help us run this site — for example our email and hosting providers — who may only use it to provide that service to us. WHO CAN SEE IT Only authorised Raindrop Dallas staff can see applications, and only the parts their role requires. Access requires a password and a second verification step, and we keep a record of who looked at what. HOW WE PROTECT IT Application answers, uploaded documents, staff notes and contact messages are encrypted while stored. Files you upload are scanned before they are accepted and are not publicly accessible. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT We keep application records for as long as we need them to administer the program and to meet our record-keeping obligations. An application you start but never submit is discarded automatically after a short period. YOUR CHOICES You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the contact details below and a person will answer. If you ask us to delete your information we will do so, unless we are required to keep some of it. Please note that a submitted application cannot be viewed or edited from this website afterwards. If you need to change something, contact us. COOKIES This site uses cookies only to make it work — to keep you signed in if you are staff, and to let you return to an application you started.
